Two 500 mL bottles of the same cold-pressed organic castor oil, 90% ricinoleic acid, one ingredient. That unusually high share is what makes the oil thick and slow to absorb, so it stays on the surface and seals moisture in instead of disappearing into it. On hair it coats each strand, smoothing frizz and leaving a soft shine, and worked into the scalp it eases dry, flaky patches. On the body it softens the rough spots — elbows, knees, heels, cuticles.

How to use
Warm a few drops between your fingertips. Massage into the scalp, smooth over dry skin, or work into nails and cuticles. Leave on overnight or for at least 30 minutes before washing. Patch test before first use.

Is this the same oil as the single 500 mL?
The same oil, two bottles of it. One ingredient: cold-pressed USDA organic castor oil at 90% ricinoleic acid.
Does this one include the lash and brow brush?
No. Both bottles here are 500 mL. The brush applicator comes with the 50 mL bottle, which is sold on its own and in the 500 mL + 50 mL set.
What does 90% ricinoleic acid mean?
It is the share of castor oil's signature fatty acid. Ours tests at 90%, with 3% oleic and 4% linoleic acid. Studies of castor varieties typically report about 83 to 89%.
Is BIOCENTIC castor oil safe to use near the eyes?
Keep it out of the eyes and patch test before first use. For lashes and brows, the 50 mL bottle's brush applicator is the one to use, and stop if irritation occurs.
